Our team at Ecos is composed of hard working, highly qualified and experienced scientists with the ability to deal with a broad range of challenges in order to provide the best solutions and recommendations to client problems.

Dr Nick O'Connor (BSc Hons, PhD) is a Director and Principal Consultant at Ecos Environmental Consulting.  Dr O’Connor has worked in environmental management for over 20 years and is a leading Australian specialist on ecological and public health risk analysis for the water and environment industries.  During his career Dr O’Connor has been involved in hundreds of water quality and environmental studies including studies on major construction developments, water recycling, water supplies, recreational water use, catchment management, environmental flow requirements, aquatic flora and fauna, and river, lake, water storage, wetland and estuarine health.  Dr O’Connor is also regularly called as an expert witness for legal cases involving environmental water quality issues.

Dr Suzie Moore (BSc Hons, PhD) is a Director and Principal Consultant at Ecos Environmental Consulting and has worked in the areas of aquatic ecology and water quality management for over 20 years.  She has undertaken a wide range of projects including wetland restoration and management, the establishment of wetland environmental water requirements, constructed wetland developments and subsequent management, waterbird habitat studies, the development of water quality monitoring programs, waterway restoration plans, irrigation drainage management studies and wastewater reuse plans.  Dr Moore is an expert at interpreting and synthesizing a broad range of data and information to support development strategies, including communication strategies for natural resource management.

Tracy Clark (BSc Hons) is an Environmental Consultant at Ecos.  Ms Clark’s area of expertise include aquatic and floodplain ecology, botanical surveys, water quality management, management and reporting of environmental data and GIS mapping.  Projects she has been involved in include water quality monitoring programs, waterway restoration plans, irrigation drainage management studies, remnant vegetation management studies and leading community water quality monitoring programs.  Ms Clark is an experienced botanist with expertise in floodplain, riparian and wetland plant and community identification.  She is also an experienced operator of ArcView GIS software and makes extensive use of GIS tools for the analysis and presentation of client data.
